This is a fast Win98SE machine with 32 Bit graphics, USB 2.0 ports, a CD-ROM drive (reads CD-R & CD-RW), and 512MB RAM, which is plenty for the OS. It is very similar to the Thinkpad T-42, with a slightly slower CPU. Google "ibm t42 windows 98" and "thinkpad r51 vs t42" for more info. This has working sound and video drivers, etc. which can be tricky to find. Office 2000 (including Clippy), Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and Reader 6.0, After Dark, Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Wolfenstein 3D, and GTA1 are included. DOS games may not have audio. The battery charges to 100%, but has only 15% of its original capacity. There is no WiFi card. The original card was not compatible with modern security. A new CMOS (clock) battery is installed. I have not tested anything external besides the CD drive and USB ports. The top has some surface scuffing, and the plastic next to the touchpad has some dings. Pretend it's 1999. I can install Windows XP SP3 if you prefer.
